Where do we draw the line, I mean relationship wise. In every relationship there is acquaintance then there is friendship and after that possibly love. But some stories or maybe most of the stories follow a different pattern. Sometimes we have love than acquaintance and than friendship, sometimes its acquaintance and then love….no room for friendship there.
How can we decide which path to follow and more importantly how do we know if the person opposite us wants to pursue the same route or some other.
The biggest dilemma I feel, as the topic suggests, is where do we draw the line. To clarify – suppose you are a very good friend of someone, just a friend, but everyone around you say that you are more than that …… now you are confused. You like everything about the opposite person, but that’s what friends are. Now it is up to you where to draw the line or decide where their relationship starts and where it should end.
On the other hand you are into someone but in process you become so close friends that the other person doesn’t see you in “that” way any more.
The solution would be the same “ghisa pita“ dialogue - follow your heart. But obviously it’s not very easy which leaves everyone of us in a very sticky situation at one point or other in our lives.
At the end ….some topics just can’t be analyzed logically.
The Line

Invictus by William Ernest Henley
heard this poem in the invictus movie and i really liked it
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds and shall find me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

The System
For last few days I have been reading about students in schools committing suicides.
And the weird part is its only January. The exams are not even close let alone the results. The pressure that a 15-17 year student bears is evident from this situation.
Parents are blaming the schools for this, yesterday I saw on news Kapil Sibbal blaming the parents for this. But I believe neither of them are as much responsible as the system. I believe that it is the system that causes schools and parents both to pressurize the student into doing things that shouldn’t be done.
Starting from the very beginning of our education we are taught to stick to the curriculum. If u have a hobby its good but u have to stick to the curriculum. The subjects that we want to study are pre decided by the system. If you want to study science it means you can earn more money while working and if you want to study arts than u will probably earn less money later on. This is the only incentive one is given when he has to choose his or her subjects.
Somebody tell me that how the hell a 13 year old is supposed to decide which field he should take unless he is given proper exposure to most of them which in our system adds up to engg., medical and commerce or he is given a proper incentive like work satisfaction other than money and parents happiness.
Parents and teachers also play their part. The part of teacher is discouraging everyone who wants to venture in some new field and parents’ part is to make their child believe that the only thing that can give them happiness is there son excelling strictly in academics.
The basic definition of our system which I have deduced is if a child can study x amount then why not x+1 it will be better for his future. But when everyone starts reading x+1 then why not x+2. Slowly this amount becomes x+y where y becomes much more than x and can be written as y = (intensive coaching classes + more and more practice – all the fun that a child of his age should experience – exposure – co curricular activities – hobbies and other interests).
Some people do thrive under these conditions, good for them, but not everyone are those people. These people are made examples which our well wishers ranging from our neighbours to our distant relatives use to motivate us or in turn pressurize us all the time.
When some of them do reach their planned destination they realize that they didn’t want to do what they have worked their whole life for. But now it’s too late and nothing can be done.
And the front for this bloody scam is our system produces the best technical brains in the world. Of course we do that. When somebody uses his technical part of the brain from the very beginning then surely he would have good technical brain. But finally the only thing left is the brain without any heart in it.
U won’t call that guy a smart guy but a geek because the only thing can do is something related to the brain. He might face difficulty in interacting with others because there are something that cannot be taught in a class where he has spent his entire life.

Bored………
I am soooooooo bored.
Haven’t felt like this since ………….. I don’t remember. May be when I was in 7th or 8th class and frankly I am not enjoying it bcoz I am not used to it anymore.
I know this is a short period of time but it seems very long.
Always used to wonder what it’s like to have no worries about the future. First it was to get a good score in boards then to get in a college and then to get a job and just recently I have completed the third step in my list.
I had other tensions like getting into a b school but all of this year’s exams are over and I can confidently say I have to try again. So as nothing can be done about it for now I am tension free with no short term plans and no long term either as I don’t plan long.
So here I am getting bored……………..
It’s funny that when you have nothing to do you don’t even wanna do things you always want to.
I don’t want to watch any movies ……… strange considering I am a movie addict and if I do I don’t enjoy it. I don’t wanna play any games on my laptop as I had just played some games on my home pc and my laptop is s**t compared to my pc. No outside sports as I got a minor but painful foot infection just at this gr8 time of my life plus my friends have pushed the limit of laziness to the next level so no help from them either.
After spending all these years in our country’s superb education system which can produce excellent and talented ……. machines, lets talk about it some other time, I am not used to not having some work anymore.
My last hope is finding a guitar teacher and may be start a new hobby.
