I am soooooooo bored.
Haven’t felt like this since ………….. I don’t remember. May be when I was in 7th or 8th class and frankly I am not enjoying it bcoz I am not used to it anymore.
I know this is a short period of time but it seems very long.
Always used to wonder what it’s like to have no worries about the future. First it was to get a good score in boards then to get in a college and then to get a job and just recently I have completed the third step in my list.
I had other tensions like getting into a b school but all of this year’s exams are over and I can confidently say I have to try again. So as nothing can be done about it for now I am tension free with no short term plans and no long term either as I don’t plan long.
So here I am getting bored……………..
It’s funny that when you have nothing to do you don’t even wanna do things you always want to.
I don’t want to watch any movies ……… strange considering I am a movie addict and if I do I don’t enjoy it. I don’t wanna play any games on my laptop as I had just played some games on my home pc and my laptop is s**t compared to my pc. No outside sports as I got a minor but painful foot infection just at this gr8 time of my life plus my friends have pushed the limit of laziness to the next level so no help from them either.
After spending all these years in our country’s superb education system which can produce excellent and talented ……. machines, lets talk about it some other time, I am not used to not having some work anymore.
My last hope is finding a guitar teacher and may be start a new hobby.
Bored………

3 idiots ……… watching it was a mistake
Wednesday, January 6, 2010
Am I the only one who didn’t like that movie. I am sick of this 3 idiots mania…………. everywhere frm orkut to facebook everyone is changing there status to “aall iz well” and changing there names to some “……… wangdu” .
There are only two movies in which I felt I should leave the theater at interval ………………. One was Paheli (in which I did leave) and the second is everyone’s fav 3 Idiots (I didn’t leave as I had no other choice).
I never had high expectations frm the movie as I hav realized in bollywood commercial movies are as good as a circus. But still I had faith in Aamir Khan and the film director whose previous works are very good. But that was a mistake…………..at least for me.
I certainly enjoyed many scenes of the movie as they were quite funny but movie as a whole was crap.
I don’t have a particular fav genre …………. I can see and enjoy movie of any genre if it is good………silly comedy, drama, action ……………. anything.
But what made me sick through the movie was the film didn’t had any particular theme. One scene was silly comedy then the next was intense drama. There were obvious bloopers throughout the film.
The most irritating quality of the movie was throughout the movie it seemed that the script was inserted in the scenes …………. the movie felt like combination of many scenes of diff themes put together on a storyboard without a common flow.
And if this was all not enough the acting of Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor (not sure of the spelling) added extra flavor to this mix khichdi.
All in all I wished I liked the movie but I can’t and I don’t understand how anybody can like it. I went to see a movie not 3 hrs of great Indian laughter show otherwise I would have seen some Akshay Kumar flick.

gotta enjoy the little things
That was probably a Saturday. There were2 things that were happening that day …. There was a match of man utd, which happens on weekends, and the food was pretty bad so that adds up to a Saturday.
The match was from 9:30 which I couldn’t miss so I went down around 9:25 to get something to eat and there it was the worst kind of dinner that can ever be made in front of me.
Now I couldn’t miss the match and get some junk food so I decided to skip dinner as my hunger had already faded away (all credit to the hostel food).
After few hours around 1 while I was watchin zombieland (the best zombie movie ever made) that hunger came back with full vigor…………. and that crappy dinner which I missed now seemed like some exquisite cuisine.
By the time I finished the movie that hunger was killing me and the only think I could think of was food and in that state I don’t think I could have even slept.
Suddenly I remembered that I might have some bread left which I bought the last day. I didn’t know how many slices were left could be one two or none.
As I opened my bread box I found 4 slices of bread in it ……….. more than I expected bt far less than what I needed.
Still smthing is better than nothing. I prepped my pop up toaster and butter and other stuff asap.
We may eat many diff things everyday but we don’t really appreciate it unless we are in a condition like I was then.
As I put that first slice with as much butter as possible it was the most amazing feeling ……….. the crunching of bread, melted butter in the mouth and at that moment the first thing that came to my mind was a dialog from zombieland --------- “gotta enjoy the little things”.
We hear, say, do, experience many things small and big very single day of our life but we doesn’t really appreciate them. If we do …………… every thing would be an adventure every thing would be a new delight.
Those 4 slices didn’t satisfy my stomach but they gave me a good night sleep and an amazing experience in such a little thing.
